Huge Deal for Mommy!  Completed the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday, October 28th.  With hurricane Sandy threatening to ruin the day, it could have been terrible.  But, it was AWESOME.  I felt strong the whole time and not even too sore after!

Here are some fun stats (note, I was hoping to finish before 4hrs45min, as that was consistent with my training...so pleased with overall time).  My splits were super consistent except for the end ... I actually got FASTER on the last 10K.  What an amazing experience and I will definitely do another! 

Note, all this training was done Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:15am!  That means on long run days I was up at 4:30am!  I only skipped 2 short runs (4 miles) and one medium run (10 miles) due to vacations.  Hard work really does pay off!

Cupcake Decorating

We weren't able to attend Kaitlyn's birthday party due to the marathon, so we had her over to make cupcakes.  Messy fun!

Lots of happenings with friends and a visit from Grandpa!  Here are a few pictures of some recent good times!  I find it hilarious that Evelyn is eating in nearly every picture.  That girl could eat all day and still doesn't weigh 30 lbs.

Grammommy's Visit

We had so much fun during Grammommy's visit.  She took the girls to school, had pedi's with Mommy, went with Mommy to the Kennedy Center to see the National Symphony in the President's box (!), checked out a cool fall festival near the house, did some final trampoline jumping of the season (Daddy can jump!), roasted marshmallows by the fire (Sylvia prefers unroasted marshmallows), and did a lot of playing!  So fun!  Here are some pictures! 

Haircuts

Super cute haircuts.  Went a bit shorter on Evelyn, so now she has a bob.  Just trimmed up Sylvia.
