Oxon Hill Farm

We love Oxon Hill Farm!  The girls picked up eggs, fed them to the hogs, and milked a cow!  When I asked Sylvia how she milked he cow, she said "Mommy, I pulled and pulled hard on that utter...and milk comed out."  I asked her what it felt like and she said "gushy."  Farming is in their blood...literally!

Great Frederick Fair

We had a great time at the Great Frederick Fair with Angela and her Mom on Saturday.  We saw a cow about to give birth, the girls pet a baby cow born that morning, and ten, 5 day old piglets.  They rode the carousel and munched on kettle corn.  Afterwards, Angela showed us around the city town (totally cute), gave us a tour of her church (wowsa! 400+ active members where her father is the senior pastor!) and then we went to her parents for Larry (her dad) burgers! Yum! 

Trip To Michigan

Over labor day and Mommy's birthday we visited Granny, Grammommy, Gramps and Uncle Kirk at the cottage in Michigan.  We had a blast!!!   I can't express enough how much that little cottage has meant to me in my life.  I have such fond memories with my Granny, Grandad, brothers and cousin!  Next summer can't come fast enough for us to return!
