This weekend was a BUSY weekend. On Friday, the girls had 2 play dates. One with Wyatt and Gresham and then another with the Garr Girls when Mommy went out for a friend's 40th birthday. They had a FROZEN party (movie!).
Saturday the girls played outside all day. It was a gorgeous sunny day!
On Sunday it was much cooler. We went to the Air and Space Museum and lunch with Carolina, and then to the "Princess and the Pea" play.
Here's a short clip of Sylvia whistling the song from the FROZEN movie, until the battery died.
Daddy has been in Brussels for a week, enjoying chocolates and beer, I'm sure.

Evelyn's First Book
Evelyn wrote and illustrated her first book. It's called "A Mermaid Sea Story" by Evelyn Romley.
Pretty amazing and about 10 pages! It was a book about the sea and she learned how to draw the pictures using a book that Grammommy gave her for Christmas!

Cozy!
It has been so cold and snowy! We like to cuddle with the dog and occasionally play with our Kindle's!
Feeling Exposed
Thanks for logging on to view the blog. Just feeling like we have way too much out there for public display. :)

Sunday Afternoon
Sunday involved watching the Olympics (Go USA!), doing a lot of cooking and baking and playing in the snow flurries! Monty had a blast chasing his duck! We had to block the stairs with pillows or Monty would run upstairs and hide with his duck. When we play fetch in the house, he gets it and then runs upstairs with it to his crate. Silly dog!

First Sleep Over at Our House
Evelyn & Sylvia had a sleepover a few months ago at their friends' Charlotte, Mackenzie and Avery's house. We thought it would be fun to have a friend stay with us. They all slept together in Sylvia's room - Maya and Sylvia in the bed, Evelyn on a cot. They had a blast - stayed up until about 9:30pm telling silly stories. They woke up at 6:15am. Pretty good!

Christmas
Grammommy and Gramps spent Christmas with us. We had a great time, including a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium, playing the girls new xbox, and opening lots and lots of presents. On the 26th, we took off for Massanutten and enjoyed the water park and snow tubing (no pictures). Monty has become an awesome dog and can do way more than go up and down stairs. He's a cutie.

New Family Member
We adopted a dog this weekend! A pure breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We got him from a rescue organization in Smithfield, PA. Apparently, they were shutting down a puppymill and when they went to get the dogs, the owner brought this doggie out by his leg. Poor boy.
We've named him Montgomery, but call him Monty. He's 3 years old and incredibly sweet. He sat on my lap the entire 6 hours home (through a terrible storm!). He is learning steps (he can go up, but not down). He hasn't had an accident in the house and while he hates the cold, he loves to run through the yard. He's sooooo sweet and Sylvia carries him around all day. He snores like a big, old man.
The girls had to test out his crate before we got him.
